AND FAMILY FUN DAY

For the second year the golf club proprietors have opened up their course to support the troops and welcome their families, this year the day will also be open to the general public.

 

The day will consist of two shot gun start rounds of golf, 4 ball, starting at 8.30am and 2pm

Entry fee is £5 per player (payable in advance or on the day) you must have your name down to play by the 6th September 2010

The Viking cup will be awarded to the winning four, The Chris Gray memorial trophy will be awarded for the longest drive and The Gaz O’Donnell trophy for the nearest the pin.

 

Pte Christopher Gray 1st Battalion Royal Anglian Regt, (The Vikings) and WO2 Gary O’Donnell (11 EOD) RLC both sadly lost their lives in Afghanistan, and will be remembered throughout the day by their family, friends and colleagues who will be attending.

 

All monies raised will go to the

Royal Anglian Regiment Benevolent Fund

BLACK KNIGHTS PARACHUTE DISPLAY TEAM

 

 

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FROM 10.30AM

 

 

MANY STALLS, INC BOOKS, JEWELLERY, TOMBOLA’S, ARMY CLIMBING TOWER, BOUNCY CASTLES, MILITARY VEHICLES, RIFLE SHOOTING RANGE, FORCES CHARITY STALLS AND INFORMATION, ARMY STANDS AND TA DISPLAY

 

THE EVENING WILL BEGIN FROM 6.30PM WITH LIVE MUSIC FROM LOCAL BAND FORGOTTEN SUN, ALONG WITH OTHER BANDS AND A FABULOUS DANCE TROUPE

 

THERE WILL BE RAFFLES AND AN AUCTION AT 7.30PM

WITH SIGNED SPORTING MEMORABILIA
